Battery Connection Guidance for S6-3P(12-20)K-H Series
We would like to address a common point of confusion regarding the battery connection on our S6-3P(12–20)K-H hybrid inverter series.
Issue:
On the inverter's main circuit board, users may encounter unclear or misleading labelling near the battery connection terminals. At first glance, the labelling appears to indicate:
- Left terminal = Negative (-)
- Right terminal = Positive (+)
However, this labelling may be misleading and could result in the battery being connected incorrectly during installation.
The image above shows the battery connected correctly, following the proper polarity.
Correct Configuration:
- Left terminal = Bat+ (Positive)
- Right terminal = Bat- (Negative)
This correct labeling is printed on the top part of the PCB, but it's located a few centimeters away from the actual battery connection terminals, which can lead to misunderstanding during installation.
Recommendation:
Please ensure that you:
- Double-check the labeling printed on the top side of the circuit board, even if it's not immediately adjacent to the terminals.
- Connect the battery with the correct polarity: Bat+ to Positive, Bat- to Negative.
Incorrect battery polarity can cause inverter malfunction or damage. If you are unsure, please consult the installation manual or contact our technical support team before proceeding.
Your safety and the optimal performance of our systems are our top priorities.
