How to enable Volt-Var / Q(U) function

Modified on Fri, 4 Aug, 2023 at 10:14 AM

The Q(U) function can be enabled on the inverter screen, for EN50549 grid standard

Advanced Setting -> STD.Mode Settings –> Working Mode -> Set Mode 2: Volt-Var

Inverter will change the reactive output power based on the grid voltage. Q(U) and the voltage control point can be adjusted.

Default values are as below.

Voltage 1: 213V (210V-230V)

Voltage 2: 223V (210V-230V)

Voltage 3: 236V (230V-255V)

Voltage 4: 246V (240V-265V)

The Volt-var function can support max 60% reactive power (0.8 leading - 0.8 lagging)

Leading: +48% (0%~+60%)

Lagging: -48% (-60%~0%)

Additionally, you can set two values for active power levels that shall be configurable both at least in the range of 0 % to 100 % of Po.

than lock-outThe P lock-in value turns the Q(U) mode on, the lock-out value turns Q(U) off.  lf P lock-in is larger than P lock-out a hysteresis is given.
