How to set up self-use and enable time of use to set charging times on RAI AC coupled inverters
1) Make sure you have the right battery selected on the inverter.
Advanced Settings (password 0010)->Battery Control-> Battery Select
Set an Overdischarge SOC of 20% (value down to which the inverter will discharge the battery) and Forcecharge SOC for the battery of 15% (value below which the inverter will start charging the battery from the grid.
Advanced Settings->Storage Energy Set-> Meter set->Meter Select->single phase meter
2)Set Storage mode to self-use mode
Advanced Settings->Storage Energy Set->Storage Mode Select->Self Use->ON
3)Enable charge from grid function (if available)
Advanced Settings->Storage Energy Set->Storage Mode Select->Self Use-> Charge from grid->Allow
4)Set time charging to ON - if the customer needs to charge the battery during lower tariff periods (for example during night time) and modify the charging times
Select a charging time to include the lower tariff time time
In most cases, you don't need to select a discharging time. Just set discharging times to 00:00-00:00, as the inverter will work in normal self-use mode outside the charging times
5)After all, this is set, I suggest turning on a load and checking the inverter's behavior.
