Resume Data Transmission after a disconnected network

Core Function Overview

When the network is disconnected, the data logger automatically stores full-period inverter data, which will not be lost after power failure. After network recovery, real-time data will be uploaded simultaneously with high-speed backfilling of cached historical data, delivering gap-free data with complete timestamps.

Breakpoint Resume Transmission Specification

Stick Logger (Max. 10 inverters connected)

Applicable models:

  • S1-W4G-ST
  • S2-WL-ST
  • S3-WiFi-ST
  • S4-WiFi-ST
  • S5-WiFi-ST
  • G2-4G-ST

Offline storage capacity: The stick logger can locally cache 30 days of operating data for 1 single inverter; the storage duration decreases proportionally as more inverters are connected (e.g., 15 days for 2 inverters).

All offline historical data will be automatically backfilled once the network recovers and can be viewed via SolisCloud.

Backfill speed: Cached historical data is transmitted at a high speed of around 3 seconds per data packet after network recovery.

Data Logger (Max. 80 inverters connected)

Applicable models:

  • MB-G4-W4
  • MB-S4-W4

Offline storage capacity: The collector can locally cache 30 days of operating data for up to 30 inverters; the storage duration decreases proportionally as more inverters are connected (e.g., 15 days for 60 inverters).

All offline historical data will be automatically backfilled once the network recovers and can be viewed via SolisCloud.

Backfill speed: Cached historical data is transmitted at a high speed of around 3 seconds per data packet after network recovery.

Core Function Advantages

Zero Data Loss Guarantee within the above mentioned criteria

The device automatically caches data during network outages and completes full data backfilling after reconnection, ensuring no missing power generation records.

Efficient Backfill Without Transmission Lag

Dual-thread parallel processing is activated after network recovery. Real-time data upload remains undelayed while historical data is backfilled rapidly. The 3-second-per-packet backfill rate greatly shortens the full synchronization cycle of historical records.

Fully Automatic Operation

The system automatically detects network status, caches offline data and resumes transmission without manual configuration or on-site operation, cutting overall operation and maintenance costs.

Accurate and Traceable Data

All offline cached data retains original collection timestamps. The cloud platform restores accurate data time sequences to support power generation statistics, equipment fault tracing and operation & maintenance data analysis.
