Check that your datalogger is the S3-GPRS-ST datalogger and not the DLS-G (DLS-G has a narrow thread ring and another setup)
Verify you received the correct APN (Access Point Name) from your SIM card provider.
Check in a mobile device if the SIM card is simlock and password free and suitable for receiving SMS messages.
Place the SIM card in the datalogger and connect the datalogger to the COM port of the inverter.
Verify that the inverter address is set to 01. https://youtu.be/TdMCG-X1tPI
With a mobile device, SMS the configuration message to the SIM card's phone number:
AT+QICSGP="mode","apn","username","password"
Because you made sure the SIM card is simlock free, the last 2 fields remain empty, but the comma's and quote's need to be there to indicate the empty fields.
So the actual SMS message looks like this:
AT+QICSGP=1,"APN","",""
Mode is 1 by default and APN needs to be replaced by the APN you received from your SIM card provider.
If it works, the SIM card will reply with "OK".
It can take up to 30 minutes before the inverter shows online.
