Solis DLS-G GPRS Datalogger setup and troubleshooting

Set up the connection:

  • Plug in datalogger into bottom of inverter
  • Ensure inverter address is set to 01
  • SMS the inserted SIM card with the following information:
    1. OLD GPRS STICKS - G 1.0 - AT+APN=214028,APN,username,password;
    2. Example: AT+APN=214028,wlapn.com,clarus,clarus;
    3. NEW GPRS STICKS (RECOMMENDED) - G 2.0 - AT+YZAPN=<apn>,<user>,<pwd>
    4. Example: AT+YZAPN=internet,web,web

Once you send the message to the phone verify the green and yellow LEDS change (flash).

If that doesn't work verify the SIM card can accept text messages.

You can put the SIM card in a phone and verify it receives internet and can accept text messages.

Set up the monitoring on our platform:

  • For installer:
    1. Create the plant
    2. Create the customer their account
    3. Link in the datalogger using the datalogger serial number

If your datalogger is the S3-GPRS-ST in stead, please read this article.
