Create an Installer Account on SolisCloud,
Create Sub-Organizations, & Manage Sub-Accounts
(APP Version)
This guide explains how to set up an Installer profile on SolisCloud. It also provides instructions for creating sub-organizations, adding sub-accounts, and assigning specific roles to each account and sub-organization.
Step 1: Create a New Account
- Open SolisCloud: After downloading and installing the app, click “Register” in the top-right corner.
- Select Account Type: Choose “Organization.” (Note: The “Owner” account option is intended for homeowners.)
- Complete Registration: Fill out all required fields.
- Important: The email used during registration will be assigned the role of “Director” for the organization, granting it the highest level of authority and control.
- Example: In this guide, Solar Pros Inc. will represent the primary organization.
Step 2: Create Sub-Organization Accounts
- Log in: After registering and logging into the app, tap “Me” in the bottom-right corner, then select “My Organization.”
- Choose an Option: From here, you can:
- Create a subordinate organization (internal or external).
- Add members to the main organization (e.g., Solar Pros Inc.).
Adding Members
- Tap “Add member” to open the member creation page.
- Assign a role to the new user by tapping “To be allocated” and selecting the desired role.
- Note: Roles like Administrator and Operations Manager provide greater access and control within the organization.
Creating Sub-Organizations
- Tap “Add subordinate organization” to access the Create Organization page.
- Define the sub-organization type as either internal or external:
- Internal sub-organizations: Have access to Solar Pros’ systems.
- External sub-organizations: Do not have this level of access.
Note: Only internal sub-organizations can view and manage systems created under the Solar Pros account.
Next Steps for Sub-Organizations
Once a sub-organization is created, it will need to set up its own sub-accounts.
