Create an Installer Account on SolisCloud, 

Create Sub-Organizations, & Manage Sub-Accounts

This guide explains how to set up an Installer profile on SolisCloud. It also provides instructions for creating sub-organizations, adding sub-accounts, and assigning specific roles to each account and sub-organization.



Step 1: Create a New Account

 

  • Open SolisCloud: After downloading and installing the app, click “Register” in the top-right corner.

  • Select Account Type: Choose “Organization.” (Note: The “Owner” account option is intended for homeowners.)

  • Complete Registration: Fill out all required fields.
    • Important: The email used during registration will be assigned the role of “Director” for the organization, granting it the highest level of authority and control.
    • Example: In this guide, Solar Pros Inc. will represent the primary organization.

Step 2: Create Sub-Organization Accounts


  • Log in: After registering and logging into the app, tap “Me” in the bottom-right corner, then select “My Organization.”

  • Choose an Option: From here, you can:
    • Create a subordinate organization (internal or external).
    • Add members to the main organization (e.g., Solar Pros Inc.).

  Adding Members


  • Tap “Add member” to open the member creation page.

  • Assign a role to the new user by tapping “To be allocated” and selecting the desired role.
    • Note: Roles like Administrator and Operations Manager provide greater access and control within the organization.

Creating Sub-Organizations


  • Tap “Add subordinate organization” to access the Create Organization page.

  • Define the sub-organization type as either internal or external:
    • Internal sub-organizations: Have access to Solar Pros’ systems.
    • External sub-organizations: Do not have this level of access.

Note: Only internal sub-organizations can view and manage systems created under the Solar Pros account.

Next Steps for Sub-Organizations

Once a sub-organization is created, it will need to set up its own sub-accounts.
