Please try these methods to configure your S3 WIFI datalogger.

Steps to configurate WIFI stick:


The household Wi-Fi network should not be connected on the end device. Please click on "forget" or "remove this network" because otherwise, the phone may often reconnect to this network automatically since it usually has a stronger signal than our data loggers.


1. Connect your phone, tablet, or laptop to the Wi-Fi network broadcasted by the data logger. You should be able to find the device in the network settings under "Solis" and the serial number.


2. You will then be asked for the logger’s password. Please enter "123456789."


3. Now, please open a browser (preferably Google Chrome). In the URL bar, enter the IP address 10.10.100.254. In most cases, a window will open asking for a username and password. Please enter Username: "admin" and Password: "123456789."


4. When the page opens, click on "Quickset."


5. Click on "Search."


6. Please search for your home network here and then enter the router’s password.


It may take a few seconds for the logger to finally be configured with your home network.


If the connection to the data logger cannot be established, the following should be checked:


- In the router, "allow connection to new devices" should be enabled (or the corresponding setting in German).

- All ports should be open, especially port 10000.

- The 2.4 GHz network should be used, not the 5 GHz network.

- Do not use repeaters.


If the logger cannot be found by serial number, press the reset button for 10 seconds. Then, disconnect the device from the inverter for 2-3 minutes and plug it back in. Please repeat the above configuration steps.

TOP INSTALLATION MISTAKES


1.  Installer doesn't realize the WIFI connection disconnected during the process. Try forgetting any wireless networks you are connected to in your device WIFI settings before starting the setup process.

2. When using alternative method, Installer puts 10.10.100.254 in the search bar rather the address bar (TOP BAR)

3. Inverter address has been changed. The address in the inverter settings menu must be 01 if a datalogger is connected directly to it. 

3. Datalogger has been installed incorrectly usually by twisting the silver dongle itself rather than just turning the black ring. Do not overtighten. 

Incorrect installation can damage the inverter!
