Introduction 


Welcome to our guide for extending the warranty of your Solis inverter. In this article, we will walk you through the simple steps to purchase a warranty extension using the SolisCloud app. Currently, this feature is only available in the app, but we plan to offer it on our website soon. Please check back for future updates. For more information on warranty coverage, please refer to our warranty document.  

Note: You can also extend the warranty for multiple devices simultaneously.

Step-by-Step Guide

 

Step 1:

Open your SolisCloud app. Once opened, log in to your account. Then select "Service" and then "Extended Warranty."

Step 2: 

Read and agree to the extended warranty statement, then enter the "Extended Warranty" online interface.

Step 3: 

Once you have agreed to the terms, you will be taken to the "Extended Warranty" interface. Here, you have several options:  

  1. Search for an Inverter: Find an inverter to extend the warranty by plant name, serial number, or email address.  
  2. Extendable Devices: This section shows all inverters in your account that are eligible for a warranty extension.  
  3. Expiring Soon Filter: This shows you a list of inverters in your account whose warranties are expiring soon.  
  4. Help needed: If you encounter any issues, this section contains all global contacts for after-sales service.

Step 4: 

Search for the device you want to extend the warranty for, click on the inverter's serial number, and specify the duration of the extension.

Step 5:

Once you’ve confirmed your order, click on the "Checkout" button. Then, enter the email address where the certificate should be sent.

Review the order details and click on "Payment."

Step 6:

Next, select the "STRIPE" option and click "Confirm Payment" to proceed. Choose your currency, enter your card details, and then click "Confirm Payment".

 To continue, select your currency, enter your card details, and then click on "Pay.

Your order has now been completed. 


  

 

 

If you change your mind, tap the arrow at the top left to exit the payment section. Confirm your choice by tapping "Continue to leave".

Once the order is created, you have 7 days to make the payment. You can find your order in the "Due" section. If you decide to pay the order, open it and click on "Payment."

Managing Orders: 

 


After completing the payment, you can view the order in "My Orders."

In the "My Orders" panel, the following information is visible:  


A:  All your orders                                                        B: Orders that are still pending payment  

                                                                                           Here, you can select an order you wish

                                                                                            to complete and go directly to the payment page.

C: Completed Orders                                                    D: Refunded Orders

If you wish to cancel a pending order, select "Cancel Order" at the bottom and confirm the cancellation.

If you want to delete an order, open the order and click "Delete Order" at the bottom. Then, confirm your choice.

If you need the warranty certificate for an already completed order, open the order under "Completed Orders." Then, click the "Warranty Certificate" button at the bottom right. A confirmation will appear on the screen, informing you that the certificate has been sent to the specified email address.

Troubleshooting:


 

Possible issues and their solutions:  


1:
 You are searching for an inverter whose warranty you wish to extend, but you cannot click on the inverter.

Solution: According to our warranty document, you must purchase the extension within the first 12 months after the installation of the plant to extend your warranty. In this case, the 12 months have already passed, and you can no longer extend the warranty for this inverter. 

 

 

 



2: 

Error message: "There are still pending orders for device xxxxxx."

Solution: You have already started the purchase process for this inverter, but have not yet completed it. Please click on "My Orders" at the top right of the screen and go to the "Pending" or "All" section. There you will find the open order and can complete the process from there.
