Revamping/Repowering – Preliminary assessment

Introduction

In the ever-evolving landscape of energy solutions, maintaining the efficiency and reliability of inverter systems is crucial for maximizing performance and minimizing operational downtime. As technology advances and operational demands shift, it's essential to periodically reassess and revamp inverter support to align with current standards and optimize system capabilities.

Our approach to revamping inverter support focuses on a comprehensive evaluation of existing systems, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing cutting-edge solutions to meet the latest industry requirements.

To ensure a smooth and effective transition, we need the following key elements from your end:

General Data

  • Plant location
  • Nominal Power
  • Type of installation (rooftoop, ground mounted, trackers,…)
  • Azimuth
  • Tilt
  • PV modules brand and model

Inverter and Electrical Configuration

  • Inverter brand and model
  • Inverter position and installation (outdoor, indoor, …)
  • Inverter configuration (indipendent/parallel channels) and Mppt number
  • DC electrical diagram with info on number of modules, number of strings, number of modules per string
  • AC electrical diagram
  • General layout and sections, distance between modules’ rows
  • Layout showing string distribution throughout the field
  • Third-party monitoring system

Performance and Availability

  • Start-of-production date
  • Yearly production’s historical data
  • List of plant’s shutdowns and related O&M reports
  • Description of any anomalies occurred (grid disconnections, displayed erros, grid nuisance, …)
  • Pictures of the plant

In case of multi-section plants please provide all info for each sections
