The battery reserve function on the storage inverters is used to give the user the ability to have a buffer of energy kept in their batteries in-case of grid failure.
If you are not looking to concern yourself with battery reserve at all you should disable it, as it limits the amount of energy you get out of your batteries.
To disable the battery reserve function:
Press ENTER to open the Menu
Scroll DOWN to Advanced Settings and press ENTER
Type in the code 0010 (DOWN, DOWN, UP) and press ENTER
Scroll DOWN to Storage Energy Set and press ENTER
Scroll DOWN to Storage Mode Select and press ENTER
Scroll DOWN to Reserve Battery and press ENTER
Scroll to OFF (light blue to OFF) and press ENTER
*NB
For HMI versions 17 and lower you just need to go into the time-charging settings screen and the battery reserve function will be disabled.
